Bobcat, Doosan open $28 million innovation center
Bobcat Co. and Doosan recently opened a joint product innovation center to benefit customers, dealers and employees. The facility, located in Bismarck, N.D., was a $28 million project that involved the expansion of an existing building to include office and lab space, classrooms and demonstration areas, and both indoor and outdoor machine operation areas.
According to the companies, the facility has two stories and 190,000 sq. ft. under roof, with an additional 22 acres of outside test and product development space. A dedication ceremony and open house were scheduled for Aug. 5. Among those scheduled to speak at the event were Rich Goldsbury, president of Bobcat and Doosan, North America; Gov. Jack Dalrymple, R-N.D.; Sen. John Hoeven, R-N.D.; Rep. Kevin Cramer, R-N.D.; and Bismarck Mayor Mike Seminary.
