Loader bucket_1John Deere updated the production series buckets for its 744K-II, 824K-II and 844K-III wheel loader models.

John Deere developed 30 configurations of its production series buckets for these three loader models. The updated production buckets come with new features that allow them to provide better visibility, easier access for maintenance and extended bucket life, John Deere says.

The company added a curved profile side cutter to improve material retention and allow for better bucket fills. It also integrated narrow spill guards on the buckets to provide better visibility to loads. This feature allows operators to see when the bucket is full, which helps to reduce load time, fuel consumption and the number of loads on the machine, according to John Deere.

In addition, the buckets feature bushed static bucket pin joints, which reduce the need for welding and align boring for repair. The company also offers optional wear plates for these buckets to extend the bucket life.
