Terex Washing Systems (TWS) plans to launch a larger model of its Aggresand range at ConExpo-Con/Agg 2014. According to TWS, the  Aggresand 206 washer, suitable for all industrial, construction, recycling and mining applications, is a larger Aggresand model that shares all of the modular features of the Aggresand 165 model, which launched in 2013. Among the shared features are ease of transportation, rapid setup time, pre-wiring and pre-plumbing, the company says.

“We are excited about making our debut at ConExpo,” says Sean Loughran, director of TWS. “Our engineers have been working on finalizing design and specification of the new larger Aggresand 206 model to give our customers the same benefits as the Aggresand 165 system, but with even more capacity. We’re looking forward to meeting our customers and showing them how this new system will help their businesses.”

The official launch and unveiling of the Aggresand 206 will take place at Hillhead Show, Buxton, England, in June 2014, when TWS will also launch a next-generation logwasher in the Aggrescrub 150.

According to TWS, the Aggresand 206 utilizes a Terex 20-ft. x 6-ft. inclined rinser screen and will be available in two- or three-deck options. TWS is directing the Aggresand 206 at larger producers who want to increase their tonnage per hour to a maximum of 400 tph.

In addition to the Aggresand 206, TWS says it will exhibit the FM120BW bucket wheel dewatering system at ConExpo. According to a press release, the FM120BW is a unique sand plant that brings together traditional dewatering buckets and hydrocyclone technology on one chassis. The unit is particularly suited to high-wearing abrasive sands, as the buckets reduce wear on the rubber-lined centrifugal pump and cyclones, the company says. The unit is also capable of processing a feed product up to 1/2 in.

TWS will have a team of technical sales engineers on two stands at ConExpo – at the Terex stand at Gold Lot 1047, and at the Invest Northern Ireland Stand at Central Halls C3-C5 51404.
