Updated wheel loader engine reduces fuel consumption
The Doosan DL250-5 and DL250TC-5 (tool carrier) wheel loaders replace Doosan’s “dash-3” models with a Tier 4-compliant diesel engine. Customers who want a wheel loader in this size can choose between a Z-bar loader linkage for the DL250-5 or a parallel lift-arm design for the DL250TC-5. Doosan added an auto-shutdown system to both of these wheel loaders to help owners save fuel when the machines aren’t being used. Operators can configure idle time before auto shutdown for anywhere between three minutes to an hour. Both loader cabs also feature a fuel consumption gauge to inform operators how much fuel is being used. Additionally, the DL250TC-5 has an optional quick coupler to change attachments such as buckets or pallet forks.
