McCloskey International introduced two jaw crushers at Hillhead 2014 in the J45 and J45R. According to a press release, the J45 and J45R feature a 45-in. x 27-in. jaw with both level and load sensors to ensure efficient material handling across applications. The hopper measures almost 15 ft. x 8 ft. and has a capacity of about 9 cu. yd. The feeder is available with an independent pre-screen option. Both J45 jaw crushers have a large gap between the crusher discharge and the main conveyor feed boot, McCloskey says, to eliminate bottlenecks and bridging. In addition, the company says the crushers can be on site and operation in a matter of minutes, with folding hoppers and conveyors.
