The Discovery Series crossover hydraulic excavator from Gradall Industries provides a cost-effective solution for governments and contractors, according to the company. Gradall says its crossover hydraulic excavator can work on projects such as grading, culvert replacement, landscaping, mowing, vegetation control, removal and replacement of curbs.
Both Gradall’s D152 and D154 models travel with an automatic transmission. On the job site, the chassis can reposition along the length of a ditch or around the site from the upper-structure cab, the company says. Gradall adds that its Discovery Series excavators’ telescoping boom tilts 220 degrees without sacrificing boom power. The boom has two overlapping sections that telescope out to nearly 28 ft. at grade, more reach and range than can be achieved with a tractor loader, the company reports.
