Rockster’s R1100D impact crusher incorporates the Duplex system, which allows the machine to switch from a jaw to an impact crusher within a few hours. The crusher processes almost any material, including asphalt, concrete and demolition debris. The crusher’s diesel engine operates constantly at optimal speed to drive the generator for the electric motor. The electric motor reduces the machine’s fuel consumption, allowing users to save on diesel. The R1100D crusher can be ordered with a grid conection to operate on electricity alone. Rockster says using the electric option is not as recommended for off-road terrain. Other options on the R1100D include an onboard air compressor, central lubrication system, main belt wear protection and belt weigh scale.
