Allan Myers, a heavy civil construction and materials company, purchased certain assets of the Daisy Construction and Edgemoor Materials companies, which include two hot-mix asphalt plants in Elkton, Md., and Wilmington, Del.

Allan Myers will assume the companies’ existing construction contracts and is hiring nearly 200 former Daisy and Edgemoor employees. As a part of the acquisition, Allan Myers now has five regional offices, five aggregate quarries and 14 asphalt plants located throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.
