Takeuchi, a manufacturer of compact equipment, appointed Toshiya Takeuchi as its new president.
He replaces his father, Akio Takeuchi, and becomes the second president in the history of the company, which was founded in 1963.
In addition, Clay Eubanks, president of Takeuchi US, was appointed to the board of directors. Eubanks has with been Takeuchi for more than three decades and held various positions within the sales group before being named U.S. president in 2003.
“I am honored and humbled by this appointment to the board of directors,” Eubanks says. “I have watched this company grow to become the company it is today. When you have been a member of a company for as long as I have, it’s more like family. I am very proud of this company, its employees, and where we are in the industry. I couldn’t ask for a better place to be.”
In his new role, Eubanks will also serve as director of global sales, working closely with other subsidiaries and distributors to grow sales and expand Takeuchi’s market share.
Earlier this summer, Takeuchi added a new regional manager in Shay Klusmeyer.
