Caterpillar, which celebrated its 100th anniversary throughout 2025, highlighted several pieces of equipment and technology at ConExpo-Con/Agg 2026.

The company’s Operator Stadium in the Festival Grounds of the Las Vegas Convention Center once again played host to Cat’s Global Operator Challenge (GOC). Nine finalists participated in the GOC on the opening day of the show, with the international competition allowing equipment operators to showcase their mastery of machines and technology. Brian Hayden of Hayden Excavating & Welding in Wells, Maine, won the competition, earning $10,000 and becoming the first U.S.-based champion.

Additionally, Caterpillar had a ConExpo-Con/Agg presence in West Hall, where its compact construction equipment had a dedicated space. Cat Industrial Power Systems, meanwhile, had its latest industrial diesel engine tech in South Hall.
