ClearSpan’s Commodity HD building features an open side that simplifies bulk and aggregate storage.

The new design is ideal for municipalities, bulk supply and construction, due to the open side that provides easy access for multiple vehicles, the company says. This design also allows for the structure to be broken down into separate storage bays, making it easy to keep aggregate materials separate. The Commodity HD building offers maximum clearance, enabling large equipment to be easily operated within the structure.

“Our new Commodity building provides efficient storage with direct access to individual commodity bays,” says Kevin Koch, research and development manager at ClearSpan. “These buildings can also work great as garages, allowing direct access to equipment without needing to shuffle other things stored in the way.”

Commodity HD buildings can be clad with custom covers and end panels. For those looking to cover the open side, side panels are available to either partially or completely enclose the side.

According to ClearSpan, the frame is built from American-made, triple-galvanized steel, and each building is covered with 12.5-ounce, 24 mil rip-stop polyethylene fabric, which is UV resistant and comes in four color options.
