SBM Mineral Processing outlines plans for Hillhead

The company will showcase the Remax 600 impact crusher, the Jawmax 450 jaw crusher and its V-series of vertical shaft impactors.

SBM Mineral Processing will showcase its mobile mineral processing equipment June 23-25 at Hillhead in the UK.

Specifically, SBM will highlight its Remax and Jawmax hybrid electrified crushing plants at Stand M10.

Remax 600

The Remax 600 impact crushing plant, which will highlight SBM’s display, processes feed sizes up to 39 in., reaches outputs of up to 600 tph and produces up to five final product sizes with one-, two- or three-deck add-on screens, according to SBM. This allows the plant to handle a range of applications, from hard rock processing to recycling.

A double magnetic separator and separate wind sifter units on all screen decks further expand its application potential, the company says.

Jawmax 450

The Jawmax 450 is one of SBM’s most successful mobile jaw crushers, the company adds. Featuring an active two-deck pre-screen, a reversible 43-in. x 27.5-in. crusher and output rates of up to 450 tph, SBM says the Jawmax 450 is a powerful solution for the recycling sector.

The Jawmax 450 offers a mobile, stable production option that is protected against overload and blockages. The company says fuel consumption is often below 20 liters per hour.

Standard equipment includes SBM’s Crush Control plant management system with remote control, as well as an app-based remote monitoring system for all key functions and operating states.

V-series VSIs

The Remax and Jawmax plants are complemented by the semi-mobile vertical shaft impact (VSI) crushers in the V-series.

Originally developed for the stationary tertiary stage, SBM says they are finding increased use in mobile settings of late. According to the company, the strengths of the V-series are refining surplus fractions, improving product shape and operating in specialized recycling processes.

The V-series crushers can produce between 33 and 176 tph.
