John Deere introduced the BX07 and BX08 SmartGrade Box Blade attachments.
The company says the new attachments are designed to help operators achieve precise grading with greater efficiency and confidence. Built for the company’s 333 and 335 P-Tier compact track loaders, the attachments provide contractors with a grading solution that combines John Deere hardware, SmartGrade technology and machine controls into one system.
“Customers continue to look for new ways to improve their operations and performance while also maximizing their overall jobsite productivity,” says Emily Pagura, product marketing manager at John Deere. “Our new SmartGrade Box Blade attachments for the compact track loader lineup expand customer capabilities through precision technology that speeds up the grading process with accuracy.”
The BX07 and BX08 Box Blade attachments are available today with 2D and laser grading, with full 3D SmartGrade capability available in the near future, according to John Deere. The BX07 and BX08 feature hydraulically actuated flip-up front wheels and adjustable wheel height, providing added flexibility across changing jobsite conditions, the company says. A recessed valve block supports operator visibility and a heavy-duty box design with edge protection also helps maximize durability for demanding grading applications.
In addition to the new SmartGrade Box Blade attachments, John Deere is expanding equipment-protection options with a fire suppression system for large-frame skid steer and compact track loaders. Designed as a machine-integrated solution, a 20-pound fire suppression tank and compact control panel can be securely installed on the machine to protect equipment for customers working in high-debris applications.
