Anderson Columbia acquired Haas-Anderson Construction, entering the infrastructure market in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Family-owned Anderson Columbia was founded in Florida in 1958 and has been doing business in Texas since 2010 in cities such as Laredo, Dilley and Cotulla.

Anderson Columbia will retain all of Hass-Anderson’s 250 or so employees. Managers will retain their roles, and operations will continue as usual.

“We’re dedicated to be a team,” says Joey Anderson III, president of Anderson Columbia. “Haas-Anderson is a heck of a construction company, and we’re excited to add them to the family and introduce them to a wider range of work and more materials. With this new addition to our company, taking care of all our new team members and clients is a No. 1 priority.”

The acquisition will help Anderson Columbia’s goal of carrying out safe and effective infrastructure throughout its communities, the company says. Anderson Columbia says it is looking forward to continuing projects in Corpus Christi and starting new ones, such as the U.S. 77 project in Kleberg Country, Texas.
