Morbark hosted its Demo Days event in Winn, Mich., showcasing a number of portable plants, including the Barracuda slow-speed shredder that was introduced earlier this year at ConExpo-Con/Agg and the redesigned 30/36 whole tree chipper that produces a 3/4-in. chip. The 40/36 whole tree MicroChipper, which debuted last year, was also showcased – as was the 3200 Wood Hog horizontal grinder, which was demoed in tandem with a new portable flat-deck shaker screen. The 1300B tub grinder and the 6600 Wood Hog capped Morbark’s demonstrations. Watch videos of the various equipment in action by clicking the respective links above.
According to Morbark, about 200 people attended the event, which spanned two days and included tours of the company’s factory. Morbark also served a Texas-style barbecue lunch on the event’s second day.
In addition to the demos, Morbark celebrated National Manufacturing Day in conjunction with the event. Morbark was the final stop on the Association of Equipment Manufacturers’ (AEM) I Make America Harley Tour. AEM’s tour advocated for public policies that advance the interests of equipment manufacturing companies, their employees and their communities.
