Rayco Manufacturing designed its RC6D25 and RC6D35 disc-style brush chippers for easy use and maintenance. The company says the chippers work well for professional tree and landscape contractors, rental companies and property managers. The RC6D25 incorporates a 25 hp Kohler engine and the RC6D35 incorporates a 35 hp Vanguard gasoline engine. Both models feature a 6-in. x 6-in. feed opening. The RC6D’s feed system pulls in brush and limbs, while its VersaFeed system regulates the feed rate. The right angle disc design minimizes dead space behind the wheel, allowing the chipper to process a range of materials. The small size of the RC6D model allows it to tow well behind compact pickup trucks. Additionally, the Torflex suspension axle provides smooth ride and reduces towing fatigue.
