The Posi-Track RT-120 Forestry (RT-120F) compact track loader from ASV LLC achieves versatility on a variety of surfaces, including mud, brush and ice, using the machine’s undercarriage.
Maximum power and torque, along with unparalleled cooling capacity make the RT-120F capable of using large attachments for long periods of time without overheating, according to ASV. The compact track loader features high-efficiency hydraulics and high-capacity cooling systems that allow for more work to be done in less time, the company says.
The RT-120F incorporates added durability with a heavy-gauge, falling object protective structure cab, improved rollover protection and reinforced windows for impact resistance. The machine blows debris from mulching applications out of the engine compartment screens with a hydraulically driven, auto-reversing cooling fan. The compact track loader works with all standard attachments, the company adds.
In addition, ASV optimized the RT-120F for forestry work that can be too demanding for some machines. The unit comes with metal guarding against brush and debris around key areas, including the lights, AC condenser and the rear screen. The RT-120F also comes in dirt and road-profiling configurations.
