The design of the JRB Triad 416 cast coupler, for use on wheel loaders, gives the attachment added strength and durability while reducing the overall weight by up to 32 percent over equivalent fabricated couplers, says Paladin Attachments. The coupler offset was reduced to provide up to a 44-percent improvement in breakout force impact, the company adds, improving the performance and productivity of the coupler system. Also, Paladin says the design optimizes the weight distribution of the coupler, bringing the center of gravity closer to the machine for better load stabilization and management. The design offers added visibility in the center of the coupler for improved load management and safer operations when using fork attachments. The coupler is available for a variety of original equipment manufacturer machine models.
