Doosan’s DX140LC-5 and DX140LCR-5 crawler excavators meet Tier 4 compliance standards, replacing their Tier 4 “dash-3” models. The DX140LCR-5 offers a shorter tail swing, which allows operators more flexibility in tight spaces. Both excavators come with an extra-sturdy frame and permanently sealed and lubricated track links to extend life. Doosan included its Smart Power Control setting on the DX140LC-5 and DX140LCR-5 excavators to improve machine efficiency. To save diesel fuel, Doosan added auto shutdown to both models to configure idle time from three to 60 minutes. Doosan says it placed improved anti-skid plates in these excavators for easier engine access during maintenance. Additionally, Doosan relocated the emergency engine stop function on the excavators for easier operator access.
