Rotochopper hosted its annual Demo Day in St. Martin, Minn., demonstrating nine different portable plants in more than a dozen applications. Those who attended were treated to a tour of Rotochopper’s factory. A number of attendees also participated in pre-Demo Day tours of Dem-Con Cos. in Shakopee, Minn., and Herman’s Landscape Supplies in Jordan, Minn.
The grinding equipment demoed at Rotochopper’s facility included the B-66, CP-118, EC-366, FP-66, MC-266, MP-2, RG-1 and the RMT. The grinders processed a variety of materials, including bark, pallets, shingles, slabs and yard waste.
Rotochopper equipment was also in action at Dem-Con and Herman’s Landscape Supplies. Dem-Con ran its EC-266 grinder for attendees. The company also has an RG-1 on site that processes shingles in tandem with a Wildcat trommel screen. Herman’s Landscape Supplies, meanwhile, processed pallets into mulch with its B-66 grinder.
