Dewatering washer reroutes material fines

Superior Industries Inc.’s Aggre-Dry dewatering washer is a washing fines recovery system that reroutes –25 mm of material fines from an onboard dewatering screen back to the integrated sand screw. Superior Industries says these fines tend to be lost to waste ponds, but the recovery system processes the material to the saleable stockpile. Sand processed through the equipment is stockpiled with an 8 percent moisture content, so the saleable product requires no drying time. The Aggre-Dry dewatering washers are available in single- or twin-screw configurations.
