Doosan’s DX140LC-3 and DX180LC-3 excavators are Tier 4 Interim compliant and have been upgraded to allow operators to customize excavators to a variety of working conditions. Powered by six-cylinder DL06K engines, the DX140LC-3 and DX180LC-3 engines feature 109 and 125 hp, respectively. Both use a water-cooled diesel engine that has been optimized for use with a cooled exhaust gas recirculation system, a diesel oxidation catalyst and a diesel particulate filter. A new electronic fan clutch reduces fuel consumption and noise levels while providing cooling system improvements, the company says.
