Eagle Crusher Co. will introduce two new plants at AGG1 Aggregates Academy & Expo and World of Asphalt, March 25-27 at the Music City Center in Nashville, Tenn.
Both the MaxRap 25 Portable plant and the UltraMax 1200-OCSS open-circuit secondary system feature Eagle’s UltraMax 25 impactor.
The MaxRap 25 Portable provides the same precision crushing of the stationary MaxRap, according to Eagle Crusher, enabling operators to crush RAP at multiple locations with ease. Actuated diverter chutework allows multi-feature deck selection, blending and bypass. The calibration chute for sampling verifies that the mix-design spec requirement is correct.
The plant’s side-discharge conveyor may be used for stockpiling or returned to another conveyor for re-circulating back to the plant for resizing. The system may also be used for screening only, conveying all material to the stockpile. MaxRap 25 Portable plant produces highly uniform, cubicle spec product with a minimum of white rock and fines, Eagle Crusher says.
Remove the actuated diverter chutework, and the plant becomes a 1200-OCSS. Recycled concrete and aggregate producers will benefit from the greater flexibility the newly redesigned 1200-OCSS provides, the company says. Operators now have a choice whether the top and middle deck material both go to the impactor, or the middle deck material goes directly to stockpiling so only the oversized material is crushed.
The 1200-OCSS includes a 6-ft. x 20-ft. triple-deck horizontal screen for screening before crushing, along with screening options for multiple spec products. It includes discharge conveyors for second and third decks, as well as for fines.
The side-discharge conveyor transports the crushed material to other equipment for further processing, stockpiling or to another conveyor for re-circulating back to the plant screen for sizing. The 1200-OCSS is designed to follow any Eagle Crusher primary jaw plant, but regardless of the primary crusher, UltraMax impactors are a perfect fit as a secondary crusher, Eagle Crusher says.
