The Warrior 1400XE mobile heavy-duty screening plant, which Powerscreen plans to launch at Bauma 2016, is designed to meet the needs of customers who prefer electricity as their power source. The Warrior 1400XE builds onto the standard Warrior 1400X model, which features a single-shaft, high-amplitude 12-ft. x 4.5-ft. screen box. The standard model features a chassis-riser option. Depending on feed material, the output capacity for the 1400XE is up to 551 tph, Powerscreen says. According to the company, the main benefit of the Warrior 1400XE is the variety of power options available. The machine can be self-powered with its own 72kVA generator. It can also be connected to a mains electricity supply for even further cost of ownership reductions. In addition, the Warrior 1400XE can be powered from an electric-drive crusher with a barely noticeable effect on the crusher fuel consumption, Powerscreen adds.
