Haver & Boecker Niagara highlighted its Niagara F-Class portable plant at AGG1 and World of Asphalt 2025. The company says the plant increases production by up to 25 percent. The circular-motion inclined vibrating screen features a double-eccentric shaft assembly that maintains constant g-force during startup, shutdown and extreme conditions, including overloading and surging. Its custom-built chassis holds the vibrating screen and periphery equipment, such as crushers or conveyors, to customize the plant depending on operational needs. Inclined, circular-motion technology uses gravity to help move material down the screen deck, reducing pegging as well as energy and horsepower requirements. It also offers easy maintenance as the vibrating screen can be lowered in less than five minutes for simple screen media changeouts.

Liebherr featured a pair of machines at the co-located trade shows. The company’s showcase included the L 566 XPower wheel loader and the R 914 compact crawler excavator. As Liebherr describes, the L 566 XPower offers “impressive” levels of productivity and versatility that equip operators to handle aggregate, asphalt and pavement projects. The company says the XPower machine concept combines performance, fuel efficiency, robustness and comfort. With capabilities that provide two types of drives inside the machine design – hydrostatic and mechanical – Liebherr says operators can have faster work cycles, carry heavy material loads and take advantage of arm variations. Liebherr says the R 914 compact crawler excavator is desirable for narrow projects and jobsites like urban applications and on motorways.

Terex Materials Processing (MP) showcased digital tools and services during AGG1 and World of Asphalt. One of the newest support solutions Terex MP offers is Terex Connect, a tool allowing Terex technicians to “see” on-site issues virtually through live video. The company says technicians interact with AR annotations and provide faster, more accurate diagnostics without needing to send an engineer on-site. Additionally, the company says service and support are strengthened with Ask Terex, a new, multilingual AI platform trained on machine documentation and data. Designed to provide quick, intelligent responses to all support machine-related questions, Ask Terex searches Terex MP equipment manuals and delivers solutions to questions in an average of seven seconds.

Develon had three machines on display in St. Louis. The DD130 dozer, DTL35 compact track loader and DL280-7 wheel loader were showcased. According to Develon, the DD130 dozer delivers superior pushing power, excellent visibility and easy operation to ensure surfaces are properly prepared for laying asphalt or aggregates. The DTL35 compact track loader, meanwhile, offers maneuverability and power to move materials like sand, gravel and asphalt mix around jobsites. Develon has a compact equipment attachment lineup for the DTL35 that includes more than a dozen attachments to enhance the machine’s versatility. Lastly, Develon says its DL280-7 wheel loader is the ideal size for many of today’s asphalt and paving projects. The machine is capable of performing asphalt tasks using a 3-cu.-yd. bucket.

Major highlighted in St. Louis its new advanced polyurethane strip variant for its Flex-Mat Modular series. The new variant offers increased durability and extends media lifespan and effectiveness in wet and corrosive environments. According to Major, the advanced polyurethane strip features greater chemical stability to improve performance in alkaline, acidic, and wet environments such as limestone operations. The company says advanced durability extends the overall wear life of screen media in applications where polyurethane strips typically wear out before the steel wire, affecting the integrity of screen media. Like Major’s standard polyurethane composition, the advanced polyurethane strips are available for the Flex-Mat Modular D, S, and T series.
