The John Deere 210G LC has an expanded hood for better access to the engine. The excavator comes with a 159 hp Tier 4 Final John Deere PowerTech PVS 6.8-liter engine. John Deere moved the excavator’s nine-pin diagnostic connector to inside the cab to reduce diagnostic testing time for technicians. Other improvements include a single-side ground level fluid filter service, which moves the engine oil, fuel and hydraulic pilot oil filters to ground level on the right side of the machine. The excavator’s diesel particulate filter also cleans itself automatically, as with other John Deere G-Series models. Additionally, handrails come standard on all G-Series excavators, including the 210G LC, to help operators climb into the cab.
