Caterpillar Inc.‘s 336F L XE Hybrid excavator includes an integrated design that conserves fuel, optimizes performance and reuses energy. It delivers up to 20 percent more fuel savings than its standard 336 counterpart with no compromise on performance or added maintenance costs. The 336F L XE uses three technologies to provide fuel savings: the Cat Electronic Standardized Programmable pump, the Cat Adaptive Control System (ACS) valve and the Cat Hydraulic Hybrid Swing system. Cat says the ACS valve now comes standard on larger Cat machines. To assist customers in managing the 336F L XE, Cat offers several connected technologies with it. Site managers can wirelessly access data on the machine such as its location, payload, fuel usage and idle time via Link technologies through the VisionLink Web portal. The 336F L XE also features a spacious cab with heated and cooled seat options.
