General Tire expanded its light construction lineup offering with the addition of new tires for skid-steer loaders, graders and backhoes.

Among the 15 new sizes are the TE11 and TE11 A, which are rugged tires suited for grading and loading operations; Skid Steer SD, a multi-purpose tire for standard- to light-duty skid steer operations; the Skid Steer HD, a heavy-duty tire that features a staggered tread bar design for traction and grip; and the Skid Steer XHD, a tire with arrow-shaped tread lugs that is suited for varying surface conditions and extra heavy-duty applications, the company says.

According to General Tire, the expansion into light construction applications complement’s the company’s existing line of tires suited for articulated dump trucks, rigid dump trucks and scrapers, which the company unveiled in February 2020.

General Tire is a supplier of tires made specifically for off-the-road applications.
