Atlas Copco’s Cobra PROe and Cobra TTe gas-powered, handheld breakers come with multiple vibration-reducing systems to enhance operator productivity. According to Atlas Copco, both breakers integrate a hand and arm protection system to minimize harmful vibrations that can transfer from the machine to the operator. The breakers also minimize vibration intensity with Atlas Copco’s vibration-dampening system, which uses leaf springs to spread vibrations over a larger area than traditional rubber bushings or spiral springs.
The Cobra PROe and Cobra TTe breakers come in two tool shank sizes, which allows rental centers to achieve high-use rates and return on investment by offering customers versatile equipment. In addition, Atlas Copco says its breakers have high power-to-weight ratios. The Cobra TTe delivers 1,620 blows per minute and 30 ft. per lb. of impact energy, and the Cobra PROe delivers 1,440 blows per minute and 44 ft. per lb. of impact energy.
