Mobile plant offers quick, efficient screening

Astec Industries’ GT2612V mobile high-frequency screening plant features a 2612V Vari-Vibe high-frequency screen. According to Astec, the two-deck, 6-ft. x 12-ft. screen uses a rotary tensioning system that allows for quick screen media changes. The 2612V also has deck-mounted, variable-speed hydraulic vibrators, a hydraulic mechanism for varying operating angles, a fines-collecting hopper, top- and bottom-deck discharge chutes and an aggregate spreader. Astec says the high-frequency screen can quickly and efficiently size crushed stone, recycled asphalt pavement, sand, gravel, coal and a variety of other materials. The plant is equipped with four conveyors: a delivery conveyor, two side conveyors and a fines conveyor. All conveyors feature a variable-speed hydraulic drive and easily fold for transport.
Modular screen plant allows for easier maintenance

Simplicity, a Terex MPS brand, offers the MHS620X modular screen plant as part its modular product portfolio. According to Simplicity, the MHS620X features an “extra clearance” 6-ft. x 20-ft. ESX horizontal screen. The ESX provides increased space between screen decks, allowing for easier maintenance access to screen media while improving maintenance safety. Features of the MHS620X are an extra-heavy-duty I-beam frame and a rigid diagonal truss construction and galvanized steel structure that includes walkways, stairs and guardrails. The MHS620X emphasizes safety, sustainability, ease of operation and streamlined setup, the company says. The modular screen plant can be used in applications such as aggregates, mining, demolition, recycling and industrial minerals. The product can be incorporated into a compact site or be utilized as part of a multi-plant system.
Hybrid jaw crusher increases output, lowers cost per ton

Screencore‘s tracked XL Dual-Power jaw crusher aims to provide users with mobility, productivity, efficiency and crushing performance, according to the company. In line with Screencore’s design philosophy, Dual-Power crushers are packed with a range of user-friendly features that deliver high throughputs, low-cost-per-ton production and accurate reduction, the company says. The Dual-Power crushers are fitted with a flexible electric drive system, meaning they can be connected directly to the mains or be powered by a drop-off diesel/genset unit. The latter is the case when there is no access to the electric grid. When connected to the grid, savings can be significant, depending on the local electricity price, as both operational and maintenance costs will be reduced, because no diesel engines are used.
