Doosan debuts DL200-5, DL200TC-5 wheel loader models with hydrostatic drive system
Doosan DL200-5 wheel loader

Doosan’s DL200-5 and DL200TC-5 (tool carrier) wheel loaders employ a hydrostatic drive system instead of a traditional torque converter transmission. According to Doosan, the hydrostatic drive system enhances the machine’s positional control. With Tier 4-compliant engines, the two wheel loaders offer improvements in fuel efficiency over their predecessor models. Operators of both wheel loaders can choose from three power modes to adjust the engine rpm. DL200-5 and DL200TC-5 users can also alter the traction force to match jobsite conditions to reduce wheel slippage for efficient operation when digging, stockpiling or loading. Doosan added more oil sampling ports to the loaders to improve preventive maintenance procedures. Other features on the DL200-5 and DL200TC-5 include heated mirrors to melt frost and snow, a sun visor and an optional rearview camera.
