When Case Construction Equipment introduced the SR270 radial-lift skid steer, it was the first skid steer loader with selective catalytic reduction technology in the industry, according to the company. Case says its latest SR270 marks the industry’s largest radial-lift skid steers with a rated operating capacity of 2,700 lbs. at 90 hp. The SR270 and SV300 vertical-lift skid steer deliver torque of 282 ft. per lb. and breakout forces of up to 8,776 lbs., Case says. According to the company, both loaders’ 25.5-gallon fuel tanks extend run times, ensuring the machines can work the entire day without refueling. The company says both loaders’ wheelbases provide curb clearance and stability during lifting and hauling, which helps retain material in the bucket better. Counterweights improve equipment stability performance, increasing the rated operating capacity by 100 lbs., Case reports. The company says the SR270 and SV300 also offer electro-hydraulic setup menus that feature nine adjustable speed and control sensitivity settings that allow the operator to match controls to their preference for comfort and productivity.
