Mecalac introduced the AX1000 articulated loader. The company says the AX1000 – and all models in the AX articulated loader series – is designed for utility, construction, landscaping and recycling. The AX1000 features a monoboom that Mecalac says provides greater boom rigidity and strength, resisting the twisting that can occur with the traditional two-arm setup. Combining large, tinted windows with the monoboom design, the AX1000 eliminates the two loader arms obstructing the operator’s view and allows clear visibility to the left and right in addition to straight ahead, enhancing safety and productivity, according to Mecalac. The AX1000 has a standard bucket volume of 1.3 cu. yd. plus a 75-hp. engine and a lift capacity of 9,038 pounds.

Yanmar Compact Equipment introduced ViO80 and SV100 mini excavators to its equipment line. The ViO80-7 and SV100-7 feature significant improvements to hydraulic efficiency, cab comfort and ease of maintenance, Yanmar says, and are the largest in Yanmar’s mini excavator line. The company says its new models are ideal for fleets and work in utility, construction, demolition and landscaping applications, among others. The 18,122-pound ViO80-7 features 18 percent more power over its predecessor, the company adds, with its new 67-hp Yanmar Tier 4 Final diesel engine. The 21,385-pound SV100-7 includes a 72-hp Yanmar Tier 4 Final diesel engine. The ViO80-7 achieves a maximum dig depth of 14 ft., 3 in., while the SV100-7 can reach 14 ft., 11 in.

With the ability to travel up to 25 mph, Case Construction Equipment says its E Series wheeled excavators can self-deploy from jobsite to jobsite while minimizing the time and expense involved with transporting by trailer. The company’s Construction King backhoe models are compatible with numerous attachments, giving crews a toolkit for improving productivity, speed and accuracy on highly varied jobs, according to Case. Case’s M Series of dozers feature new electro-hydraulic controls that allow operators to set steering and shuttle settings to smooth, moderate or aggressive, the company says. Also from Case is the CX25EV, the company’s all-electric mini excavator slated to release in 2024. With the same power and performance as diesel-powered machines, Case says its EV equipment is easy to charge, transport and service, while offering zero on-site emissions, minimal noise and reduced maintenance costs.
