Morbark’s 6600 Wood Hog horizontal grinder is designed to process clearing debris, yard waste, storm debris and other mixed woody feedstocks. The 6600 has a 66-in. x 50-in. feed opening for processing bulky material. The milling system is constructed of a heavy-duty, 28-in.-diameter rotor and 18 two-piece, laser-cut rotor plates that measure 1.38-in. thick. The discharge system consists of a hydraulically driven belly belt conveyor that discharges onto a 40-in. x 31-ft. stacking conveyor with hydraulic fold for transport. Morbark Integrated Control Systems automatically adjust feed rates and monitor pressure and feed wheel position to maximize production and engine efficiency.
