The National Demolition Association (NDA) is broadcasting the second installment of a two-part series called “Covering your Assets: Managing Contractual Risks” to educate subcontractors on demolition contract practices. The webinar is July 31 from 2-3 p.m. EDT on the NDA website.

Scott Fradlin, a business contract legal expert and principal in the Chicago law firm Much Shelist P.C., will lead the webinar and focus on challenges and issues that can arise for a demolition subcontractor. The six key issues that will be addressed include the laws of the state, flow-through provisions, payment, indemnification, insurance and limitations of ability.

“Both webinars have been developed to minimize the likelihood of litigation,” says Kim Wieland, NDA director of member services.

Fradlin also plans to cover information contractors will need to “protect their interests.”

Registration cost for the webinar is $35 for NDA members and $50 for nonmembers. For more information, contact the NDA at info@demolitionassocation.com or by calling 800-541-2412.
