Neuenhauser’s Super Screener Star is a two-fraction split star screen that’s capable of screening up to 750 yds. per hour of ground-up wood to a spec finished product. The screen is also capable of screening up to 450 yds. per hour of compost to a 3/8-in.-minus spec. The JCB four-cylinder, 130-hp engine uses 1.6 gallons of fuel per hour, according to the company, and has a memory system for five different material size settings. An auto lube system greases the entire machine on a timer to ensure proper lubrication to all bearings. The unit also has a hopper extension to increase capacity to 14 yds. of material and minimize feeding with a loader or direct feeding from a grinder.
