The PTSC2818VM portable high-frequency screen plant from Astec Industries’ Materials Solutions Group is equipped with an 8-ft. x 18-ft. top deck and an 8-ft. x 12-ft. bottom deck. It features externally-mounted vibrators at the ends of the tappets for more aggressive screening action. Astec says the screen’s design creates higher G-force and reduces heat load from material to motors versus single, center-mounted vibrators, allowing for easier maintenance and adjustments. The screen is equipped with hydraulic operating angle adjustment, a fines collection hopper, top- and bottom-deck discharge chutes and an aggregate spreader. Similar to other PTSC plants, the 2818VM features a nominal 54-in. x 38-ft. delivery conveyor with hydraulic drive and full-length skirtboards. The chassis is fitted with manually-operating support legs, outriggers for additional support and folding walkways along the screen, according to Astec.

New solution suits variety of applications
The new QA452 three-deck Doublescreen is the latest solution in Sandvik Mobile Crushers & Screens’ QA series. Sandvik says its Doublescreen technology typically outperforms traditional screens by up to 30 percent, offering tailored rock-processing solutions for the quarry, recycling and mining industries. Sandvik engineered the three-deck tracked mobile plant with independent screen-angle adjustments and hydraulic screen separation. The plant features two triple-deck incline screen boxes with equal-size screen decks, providing 100 sq. ft. of screening area.

Impactor in the plans for major trade show
Kleemann plans to debut the Mobirex MR 130(i) PRO impact crushing plant at Bauma 2022 this October. The Mobirex MR 130(i) PRO can be used as a primary and secondary crusher, combining what Kleemann characterizes as output, precision and sustainability. Featuring an all-electric drive concept with the option of an external power supply, Kleemann says the plant guarantees low-energy consumption per ton of final product. An optional double-deck secondary screening unit permits the production of two classified final grain sizes, the company adds. The MR 130(i) PRO covers a wide application range in natural stone and recycling, Kleemann says. The crushing unit features a heavy rotor, a powerful electric 250-kilowatt drive and guarantees a high and stable throughput, according to the company.
