The National Demolition Association (NDA) elected Scott Homrich as president for the 2021-23 term.
Homrich, CEO of Homrich, a Michigan-based demolition contractor, previously served NDA as vice president. His election to president took place NDA’s annual meeting, held virtually March 3.
“I am truly grateful to be able to serve the organization in my new role as president of the National Demolition Association,” Homrich says. “2020 has been a challenging year for our industry and community to overcome, but I see a bright future ahead of us. Under the leadership of Chris Godek and my fellow board of directors, we have persevered and emerged a stronger organization. I look forward to continuing our work to advance the mission of NDA and inspire the next generation of great leaders in demolition.”
Additional changes to NDA’s executive committee include vice president James Milburn of Milburn; secretary Ben Hayden of Hayden Wrecking Corp.; and treasurer Dennis McGarel of Brandenburg Industrial Service Co.
In addition, six new members were elected to the association’s board of directors. Those elected include Tony Frattalone of Frattalone Co.; Jim Graham of Winter Environmental; Tim Gunn of Adamo Group; John Satterwhite of Lloyd D. Nabors Demolition; David Sinclair of Safedem Limited; and Blake Svendsen of Environmental Resources Management.
NDA represents almost 500 demolition companies throughout the United States and Canada.
