Power, torque of JCB loader increased with emissions improvements

JCB has unveiled a loader that’s equipped with a Tier 4 Interim-compliant engine, offering increased power and torque and reduced fuel consumption. Improved transmission options, upgraded axles and robust styling combine with a revised interior to provide what JCB calls a faster, more productive machine. The JCB 457 features a 16 percent increase in power and 18 percent more torque. A clutch cut-off allows for maximum hydraulic power at low travel speeds, and a five-speed transmission option with lock-up facility speeds up acceleration.
