Terex says its jaw chamber comes with optional hydraulic release, which can help when crushing construction and demolition debris. The company says the hydraulic release option has an automatic overload protection system to prevent damage from non-crushable items in the feed material.
Terex says the J-1170AS’ 13-yd. hopper has hydraulically folding sides and a self-locking mechanism to make machine set-up times faster. Terex adds that the hydrostatic transmission of the J-1170AS’ jaw chamber offers operators reversible operation in the event of blockage. It also provides variable chamber speed to suit given applications, according to the company.
