Pro Lawn has undoubtedly come a long way since Houssain’s first days in the landscaping business.
The company name hasn’t changed, as Houssain says Pro Lawn retains a landscaping division. But aggregate producers and others looking for a reliable contract crusher know enough now to look beyond the Pro Lawn name and expect excellence when it comes to crushing services.
“Darian has the sheer amount of mobile equipment, support equipment and workers to get it done,” says Connor Cobane, general manager of Powerscreen Crushing & Screening Indiana.
Still, among the many lessons Houssain learned over the years is to stay humble. He carries that sentiment with him from job to job.
“We do a lot bigger numbers than we ever thought about,” Houssain says. “It blows my dad’s mind. He never thought it would turn into this. It just floors him.”
According to Houssain, his dad moved to the U.S. from Guyana when he was just 17 years old.
“You go from nothing and turn it into the American dream,” Houssain says. “It’s there, you just have to go get it.”
