Pure Safety Group (PSG), a manufacturer of fall protection equipment, released its Checkmate Xplorer industrial full-body harness to the U.S. market.

The Checkmate Xplorer features visual alert stitching for ease of understanding how to wear the harness, as well as a limited slip dorsal D-ring for the precise amount of vertical adjustment. The D-ring is designed to stay in place after multiple loadings.

According to PSG, the harness is designed for improved comfort during periods of suspension and loading, compared to conventional harnesses. Hardware on the harness is ergonomically-designed to suit the product’s functions, which provides a greater range of motion and reduced wear on the webbing, which is curved for greater support and improved comfort during suspension.

In addition, the large front ring allows for multiple attachments and uses a lightweight aluminum quick-connect buckle to ensure a safe final connection, the company says.

According to PSG, the Xplorer meets or exceeds the requirements of the Occupational Safety & Health Administration‘s (OSHA) 1910.140, OSHA 1926.502, ANSI Z359.11-2014, EN 361:2002, EN12277:2007 Type A and EN358:2000.
