Registration is now open for AGG1 Aggregates Academy & Expo and World of Asphalt 2027, taking place March 15-17 at New Orleans’ Ernest N. Morial Convention Center.

Registration is open for AGG1 Aggregates Academy & Expo and World of Asphalt 2027.

The co-located shows will take place March 15-17 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans. This is the first time the shows will be held in the Big Easy.

“Bringing World of Asphalt and AGG1 to New Orleans for the first time gives us an exciting new backdrop for the ideas, connections and innovation that move these industries forward,” says Brittany Schmidtke, AGG1 and World of Asphalt show director. “Attendees can bring their toughest questions, compare solutions side by side and head home with answers they can put to work.”

More than 450 exhibitors are expected across 250,000 sq. ft. of exhibit space, showcasing equipment, products, services and technologies for aggregates, asphalt and related operations. According to show organizers, roughly one in five exhibitors plans to introduce new products or technologies at the event.

“As AGG1 2027 makes its debut in New Orleans, attendees will experience more than just a trade show,” says Michele Stanley, president and CEO of the National Stone, Sand & Gravel Association. “They will be part of the premier gathering for the aggregates and industrial sand industry. From world-class education and networking opportunities to hands-on access to the latest equipment, technology and best practices, AGG1 delivers practical insights and connections that help attendees strengthen their operations and grow their businesses.”

Education opportunities

AGG1 Academy will offer sessions focused on operational efficiency, safety, sustainability and industry best practices. The program features four education tracks:

• Operations & Production: Covers plant operations, production, equipment maintenance and fleet management.

• Environment, Safety & Health: Focuses on safety and environmental best practices, regulatory compliance and sustainable operations.

• Business Management & Leadership: Explores business and financial principles, community relations, marketing and sales.

• Automation, Technology & Software: Covers automation fundamentals, software, artificial intelligence, data management and emerging technologies.

World of Asphalt’s People, Plants & Paving education program will offer 60 sessions across five tracks: people; plants; paving; pavement preservation and maintenance; and environment, health, safety and sustainability. New for 2027, sessions addressing technology within their subject area will carry a technology designation.

Networking and registration

The Rock & Road Reception will take place March 15, bringing attendees and exhibitors together for live music and entertainment. A community zone will also provide space throughout the show for attendees to connect with peers and industry organizations.

Attendees can register through the shows’ registration page. Show admission provides access to both exhibit floors, with education available for purchase separately. An all-access pass includes admission to both shows and access to AGG1 Academy and People, Plants & Paving education.
