The Generation 2 (GEN2) R260S and V350S skid steer loaders from Terex offer 10.5 in. of ground clearance and a 24-degree rear angle of departure, which improves the machines’ abilities to travel over soft, uneven terrain. The Terex R260S model boasts a 5,200-lb. tipping load, a 6,420-lb. bucket breakout force, a 125-in. of lift height and 25-in. of reach. The R260S, which is engineered with a radial lift path to raise loader arms in an arc pattern, excels most at digging and grading applications. The loader’s radial lift path makes the R260S more visible, especially when working in homes and backyards. The Terex V350S features a 7,000-lb. tipping load, a 5,050-lb. bucket breakout force and a 5,540-lb. arm lifting force. As a vertical lift path unit, the V350S aids in lifting pallets of heavy material. The GEN2 skid steer loaders handle heavier loads with faster cycle times than competitive brands, Terex reports. In addition, both loaders prevent the migration of dust, sand and debris with their mechanical-faced axle seals.
