Superior’s Portable RAP Plant is equipped with an 8×16 feed hopper, 3×8 two deck screen, 24-in. screen feed conveyor, 24-in. screen discharge conveyor and 36-in. belt under the hopper. Material is fed through the hopper and separated as it moves through the screen, producing recycled asphalt product. The plant screen, installed at an incline, is furnished with shim adjustable counterweights to increase amplitude efficiency. Fitted with a manual tilt grizzly, the feed hopper is reinforced on all sides with necessary leg supports in place where needed. The plant’s carrier chassis includes HD wide structural beams, W-beam block legs, tandem axle suspension, and a screen box and feed hopper access.
