Takeuchi-US opened a new training center in Pendergrass, Georgia, to provide additional training and instruction for company staff.

Located next door to Takeuchi’s U.S. headquarters, the 37,000-sq.-ft. training center will host sales and technical instruction for the company’s salespeople, dealer technicians, dealer principals and corporate dealer trainers, Takeuchi says.

Courses will include intermediate-level technical trainings for both compact excavators and loaders, with simultaneous classes beginning in May. Classes will cover a range of topics, including general engine controls and machine layout; electrical and hydraulic component location; and exhaust after-treatment systems.

The company expects to increase class capacity and add more service training classes in the coming months, and it will offer quarterly sales training and advanced technical training for dealers.

“Our employees, dealer partners and customers are key to Takeuchi’s success,” says Keith Kramlich, product and training manager for Takeuchi-US. “With this incredible new state-of-the-art facility, we’re ready to take our training to the next level and help even more people discover the difference that Takeuchi machines can make on their productivity, safety and bottom lines.”

With the addition of the training center, Takeuchi’s Pendergrass, Georgia, campus now totals more than 500,000 sq. ft., the company says. Takeuchi broke ground on the new training facility in 2019.
