Terex acquired Continental Biomass Industries, advancing the Terex Environmental Equipment (TEE) product line with new equipment and a number of customization and specialty product capabilities. TEE, which is a part of Terex Materials Processing, serves the wood, biomass and recycling industries.
With the acquisition comes a new sales and support strategy for TEE. First, the CBI brand will be maintained as a Terex brand within the portfolio. Also, the Terex Eco product range will address mid-range recycle and wood processing needs. In addition, the Terex Arborist line will include hand-fed chippers and other small equipment primarily used by tree-care specialists.
