Terex Washing Systems to highlight logwasher at Hillhead

Terex Washing Systems will debut the AggreScrub P80 logwasher at Hillhead, which will take place June 23-25 in Buxton, England.

Terex Washing Systems will introduce a new logwasher with a prescreen at next month’s Hillhead.

According to Terex Washing Systems, the AggreScrub P80 is engineered for aggregate, construction and demolition waste, and excavation material applications. It is mounted on a single modular chassis, with the plant combining prescreening, logwasher scrubbing, post-screening, contaminant removal and slurry management within one integrated system.

Hillhead takes place June 23-25 in Buxton, England. Terex Washing Systems will be present at Stand L6.

“Introducing the AggreScrub P80 at Hillhead reflects the increasing demand for compact, high‑throughput wet processing solutions capable of handling heavily contaminated material,” says Paul Carolan, business line director at Terex Washing Systems. “By combining prescreening, intensive scrubbing and accurate post‑scrub sizing on a single chassis, the P80 provides a practical way for operators to simplify plant layouts while achieving more consistent, higher quality end products.”

Designed to remove clays, silts, organics and lightweight contaminants, Terex Washing Systems says the AggreScrub P80 enables operators to reduce operating costs, streamline plant design and improve final product quality. Its modular, compact layout supports faster transport, installation and commissioning, the company adds.

A PowerScrub twin‑shaft logwasher is at the core of the AggreScrub P80, featuring spiral‑arranged blades that deliver stone‑on‑stone attrition and continuous material movement. An adjustable operating angle allows retention time to be optimized for varying feed conditions, Terex Washing Systems says, while independent high‑torque drives enable reliable startup under load.

Following the scrubbing stage, material is processed by a 2.4-meter x 1.2-meter triple-deck inclined aggregate screen that produces up to three clean washed products. Integrated spray bars deliver a secondary rinse to remove residual contamination prior to final sizing.

Lightweight contaminants, including plastics and organics, are removed via a dedicated 1.8-meter x 0.6-meter trash screen. An integrated sump tank and pump maintain consistent slurry levels to ensure stable washing conditions.

In addition to the AggreScrub P80, Terex Washing Systems will display the FM60C at Hillhead. The FM60C is in Terex Washing Systems’ FM Compact sand recovery range.

“The first public showing of the AggreScrub P80 at Hillhead, alongside the FM60C sand recovery unit, reflects key elements of our wet processing capability,” Carolan says. “We look forward to welcoming visitors to our stand to discuss applications, plant configuration and how these solutions can be integrated into wet processing operations.”
