SBM Mineral Processing’s Remax 600, featuring a 1400 impact crusher with a feed opening of 55 in. x 39 in., produces a maximum of 600 tph. The plant’s standard equipment includes options that can produce a wide range of end products. The Jawmax 450 track-mounted jaw crusher from SBM is a 450-tph solution for raw materials and recycling. With a feed opening of 43.3 in. x 28 in. for particle sizes up to 40 in., SBM’s track-mounted Remax 450 impact crusher features an active pre-screening solution that optimizes the performance of the 50 in. x 32 in. impact crusher. The system has a maximum capacity of 450 tph, with transfers and conveyors allowing for the trouble-free production of a range of defined end products in a single pass, according to the company.

Metso expanded its Nordwheeler NW Rapid range with the addition of the NW8HRC, the first portable HRC 8 crusher for manufactured sand. According to the company, the plant consumes up to 50 percent less power to obtain the same net product volume. Nordwheeler portable plants are powered by electricity and can be set up without heavy concrete foundations. In addition to the NW8HRC, the Nordwheeler NW Rapid range is expanding with five new portable crushers. The models are designed on Nordberg and Barmac crusher technologies for effective secondary and tertiary crushing, according to Metso. The new models are the NW300GP, NW300HP, NW330GP, NW7150 and NW9100. The new units offer up to 500-tph capacity, making the Nordwheeler portable plants available for aggregate producers and contractors handling higher volumes, according to Metso.


Crusher coming to US after overseas launch

A new jaw crusher from Rubble Master is expected to debut in the U.S. this quarter. The RM J110X tracked jaw crusher is the first piece Rubble Master is releasing in 2024. The company launched the 44-in. x 28-in. crusher internationally in April in Austria. According to Rubble Master, the RM J110X incorporates the company’s new high-efficiency drive concepts, in addition to several other features. The company says the crusher will expand the application range of Rubble Master crushers, open up new opportunities in the market, and support the company’s growth path. Additionally, Rubble Master says measures for the future are being taken at its Austrian site, with additional production lines being built to increase production capacity for crushers.
