Finlay introduced the C-1550+ tracked cone crushing plant, building on the strengths of a predecessor (the C-1550) while offering increased performance, enhanced efficiency and improved serviceability. At the core of the C-1550+ is an upgraded Terex 1300X cone crusher, which features a 52-in. head diameter. The C-1550+ features higher clamp forces and a longer throw, offering a 15 percent increase in tonnage and production compared to the C-1550, according to Finlay. The new crusher includes ultrasonic level sensors that regulate material flow from the hopper to the crushing chamber. This ensures consistent and efficient crushing. The machine’s ability to accept an all-in feed, meanwhile, eliminates the need for additional screening equipment.

Sandvik Mobile Crushers & Screens launched the UJ313 as the latest addition to its line of heavy-duty wheeled crushers. The fully electric unit can be utilized in quarry and recycling applications, according to Sandvik. It is fully assembled on a single trailer frame and mounted on a triple-axle bogie. The Sandvik CJ211 jaw crusher is at the plant’s core. The UJ313 is equipped with an advanced electric drive system. A three-way diverter chute below the grizzly and a natural fines conveyor offer on-site flexibility, maximizing capacities and the production of saleable products. Additionally, Sandvik says motorized pulleys on the conveyors reduce the need for oil changes, decreasing service and maintenance time and creating a safer work environment.

Cedarapids launched the TI4250 horizontal shaft impactor (HSI), which is designed for applications such as aggregates and recycling. According to Terex MPS, which operates the Cedarapids brand, the TI4250 has a modern hydraulic-assist apron adjustment that enables quick and precise setting changes to optimize operations. The crusher is equipped with four rear inspection doors and a hinged side door, providing access to the rotor, blow bars and aprons for inspection and servicing. The chamber hydraulically opens for general maintenance, as well as for turning or replacing blow bars. It features a four-bar rotor that’s outfitted with reversible blow bars secured by a wedge lock system. In addition to its standalone capabilities, the TI4250 is a component of the Cedarapids CRH1113R portable closed-circuit impactor and screen plant.
